After doing some research, I've tried everything I could besides for rebooting the computer to factory mode. It would stay on for however long I've had the patience for it (more than an hour) and disabled me from using my computer. What would occur is that after I press the on button, I would hear the two dings and a gray screen with a metallic apple logo and a gray pinwheel would appear. I've been experiencing the 'gray screen of death' every time I've turned on my laptop. Or could it be the start up drive?  It only appears for about 30 seconds then goes away, sometimes freezing completely, It seems to happen less when the computer is stationary but still will happen quite often even just typing text. Logic Pro after reinstalling refuses to Open. Music sometimes freezes skips for 5-10 seconds. (after i was told by a tech expert at a dodgy asian store the main processer had to be replaced)  The only issue im having are. The spinny wheel apears in almost all tasks, internet, browsing flies, clicking top tab. I bought a new charger and my dad managed to fix it. My computer stopped charging and turning on a short while after it was dropped. Called APPLE SUPPORT, as I had done in the past as a long time Apple user, and was SHOCKED by the AWFUL customer service. I have an 18 month old Macbook Pro 13' that won't boot, but instead it just beeps 3 times (a RAM issue). I want to buy a cheap RAM-'Transcend 4 GB DDR3 1600Mhz' but I am not sure that if macbook supports this. macbook beeps 3 times Couple of days ago my macbook freezed and started beeping thrice, I imeediately google d it and found out it was bad RAM but couldn't find the cause. If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it. If you recently dropped the machine you may have knocked it loose. Sometimes, as in this video, it's an easy DIY job to resolve. Old MacBook Pro stuff today, the three beeps on boot are a generic memory error.
